Isometrics: Hand-Drawn Concept Art
“Isometrics” is a series of hand-drawn illustrations I developed as concept art for a video game project during my time at university. The drawings feature intricate isometric views of floating buildings, each resembling a standalone tile from a much larger, unseen world.
Medium:
Charcoal, Chalk, Alcohol-Based Markers
Project Type:
Concept Art for a Video Game Project
Created During:
University Studies
Artistic Approach
Traditional Mediums:
I used charcoal, chalk, and alcohol-based markers to achieve depth, texture, and contrast, giving each structure a distinct atmosphere.
Isometric Perspective:
The buildings are designed with precise angles, creating a sense of space and structure while maintaining a stylized, dreamlike quality.
World-Building:
Each piece is part of a fragmented landscape, suggesting an expansive world beyond what is visible.

This project was an exploration of architectural storytelling, using hand-drawn techniques to bring a unique game environment to life.
